Have you ever thought about what it was like to be a crazy teenager during the 1970’s, or what it might have been like for your parents or grandparents who were teenagers then? Ever wonder what it was like to be in a school of 9-12 graders, beaming with youth and activity, but with no cell phones, no Nintendo’s and no personal computers? As you look back on and explore that time you may find that those were, for the most part, simpler times, awkward teenage times, anxious times and fun times. We all did crazy things back then, what did we expect – we were teenagers, and again it was all part of growing up and maturing. This book chronicles my teenage years of 14 - 19, from living in my hometown of Ilion NY, and then being uprooted and transplanted into the state of Minnesota, leaving old friends - making new ones, and attending a new high school. Though I recall the many trials and tribulations, some very vividly, of that sometimes-tumultuous adolescent time, I also recount and enjoy the many good times and blessings that have come from that experience.
