NO MORE BAD DAYS is a gripping investigative thriller that follows Detective Kimberly Hall's investigation of a gruesome murder. When a dismembered body is found off the Chicago River, two detectives try to unravel the mystery of who the victim is, and how her legs and (partial) torso ended up packed neatly in a suitcase. Detective Hall chooses Diaz to be her partner. He's a rookie but Hall thinks he's got what it takes to help her get to the bottom of this awful murder. As the detectives begin to unravel the victim's past, Hall quickly learns that this is not a straightforward case. The killer has cleaned and disinfected the murder scene and has skillfully cut the victim in ways that almost defy belief. The victim had a fractured relationship with her family, after suffering under a strict father; she's had troubled relationships and friendships. There's many people on the suspect list. But that's not Hall's only problem. She simply doesn't know who she can trust, and she hopes she made the right choice with Diaz.
