This is a really well writen book from a woman's perpective on life. The death of her mom starts a chain of events that lead to a discovery of self. I enjoyed the charactors in the story and feel that they are very real. The book did make me cry in parts but all in all it was a lovely story that I couldn't put down until I had finished it.

I cried. I wish I could say more, but the story speaks for itself. It's funny, sad, real.
The truth of the Lord is revealed through the very personal journey we ride along. My mom always said that works of art that evoke strong emotion, like tears, are the best. I agree.

One Perfect Now shows the true emotions of a woman going through grief, self-esteem issues, pressures of life, and even misunderstanding from others. If you have ever gone through any of these situations, this book will bring you hope that you will come out of the situation stronger, especially when you put your faith in God and in yourself. Also, know that you don't have to go through any difficulty alone. Pray that God will bring you that someone to help you through this journey, as God never intended for us to walk through life alone.

Andora Henson has written a perfect "coming of age" story where every woman can see herself in those pages. Wife, mother, but what else am I?
Through experiences with others who are going through their own personal crises, the protagonist comes to realize she is not unique in her search for her own authentic self.
Never "preachy" she weaves a story of recognition that everyone should/must experience for herself.
Kudos to Ms. Henson on the publication of her first book. Let's hope this debut novel will be followed by even more of her thoughtful writings.
