LGBTQ x Romcom x Greek Gods
It's Pan's turn for love, and everyone's in for a wild ride – especially his smitten best friend Cupid, who is duty-bound to find Pan’s perfect match.
For 2,000 years, Cupid believes his best friend dead, but when the gods banish Cupid from Mount Olympus, he discovers Pan alive and well in Tarra, Indiana. Joyfully reunited, the two revive the camaraderie of their youth, but tensions mount when Aphrodite sets Cupid’s heart signal on Pan. Failure to fulfill his divine duty will doom Cupid to suffer yet another tragic love, but to succeed, he must risk losing everyone he holds dear.
Book 3 of the Cupid’s Fall series puts Cupid's epic friendship with Pan to the ultimate test – Love.
Yet another delicious romp through the adventures of Cupid and Pan. Cupid remains on earth, still under punishment for a wayward arrow. While there, his godly parents throw him one challenge after another but this time they have really gone too far - this time they are making Cupid's heart beat for his best friend, Pan.
For a moment I thought this would all end in a romantic, loving embrace, but of course there are complications. Several.
Greenberg is excellent at two things - first, spinning a story with enough feels that we really care about her characters, and second, writing sex scenes. It is not easy to do this well (as a writer I am tempted to just hint and then dim the lights), but she manages to be both descriptive and yet not too intensely so.
Plus she makes me laugh.
The plot skips between Olympus and Earth and the gods persist in messing with our heroes. Will it all work out in the end? Will Pan find who his heart truly beats for? Will Cupid? Or will they become enmeshed in a romping ravishing relationship destined to disrupt heavens and earth?
And, key question, will the ever so hunky and sexually attractive Cupid really want to give up his gorgeous body and return to flying about in a chubby, diapered, infant form, destined to cause love but never participate in it?
You'll have to read to find out...
Highly recommended as a delightful read, light enough to avoid extra stress in these challenging times, funny enough for several bouts of the giggles, and with enough heart to challenge Ted Lasso.
Book 3 in the Cupid's Fall series is now available for pre-order.
