Roads not Taken is my favorite….so far. This is #4 and the comfort and familiarity with some of the characters and their history, added to my enjoyment and personal involvement in this story. And then there is the subject matter that Gallo is shining a light on. Reading about the broad spectrum of gender identity as a part of the story and not the sole focus of the story is brilliant. There is empathy, insight and a well-told story in this latest novel-can’t wait for Murder at the Columbarium!!
