Maggie Mullen is an overweight 27-year-old woman living in Madison, Wisconsin, who has a quiet life taking care of cats when their owners are away. She lives alone with her own beloved cat, Lucy. But when her young sister asks her to be maid of honor in her upcoming wedding, Maggie's quiet, cloistered world starts becoming a bit troubled.
