Not the usual sports romance, which makes this story so interesting. The connection between Flynn and Chavez is totally believable and I like that it wasn't insta-love. Dual POV's and awesome spicy scenes! Tennis isn't a sport I follow and the author didn't beat me over the head with too much of it. Good balance of love, action, and some things I didn't expect! Can't say anything without being a spoiler but so good! I laughed, I cried.
Wow! This book is a fiery romance between two people who both have hidden demons and secrets they aren’t really sure about letting be known. Definitely a must read and I love that we get to see what is happening with Vandana from the first book.

This is the second book in this incredible trilogy, and this is Chavez and Flynn’s journey. Chavez is an unpredictable and volatile tennis prodigy, who disappeared without a word. Flynn is a motivational speaker and author who wants to move on to writing mysteries. When Chavez is back and needs a new motivational coach, Flynn agrees to help him, and the sparks fly between them. Both characters are haunted by demons, and the chemistry between them is off the charts and undeniable. This is a well written story which has suspense, secrets, humor, witty banter, an age gap, and is an entertaining and spicy sports romance.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
There was so much I loved about The Challenger. It's so easy to read a book and think "wow, this needs to be a movie" after finishing the last page. But if this series was turned into a movie or tv show, it could be absolutely incredible!

This book was so good. It had great character development, romance plots, as well as a regular storyline that kept you intrigued from start to finish. I was so in love with their chemistry from the get-go and so excited to see what became of their happenstance meeting. I cannot wait until the third book comes out later this year as it’s sure to be another epic and beautiful love story.
Loved this story! The chemistry between Chavez and Flynn is crackling, all the characters are so vivid, and the story...not your predictable sports romance in the slightest. As soon as Chavez and Flynn meet in their therapist's office you just know things are going to get interesting. Finished in a day!
