Nico claims to know nothing of the magical world of Oliveto when he and Sofia are thrust into an extraordinary adventure. The Dark Secrets of Oliveto by Stefano A. Giovannoni is a fascinating, exciting read with great attention to detail. The characters were a little different from what you usually find in this genre, which made this story unique. They were well developed, and while you may not take to them, to begin with, I guarantee that will soon change the deeper you get into the story. If you like the YA genre, this book will enthrall you and keep you reading. There is plenty of action, suspense, and a few twists and turns to keep you guessing. As the first book by this author, it’s an amazing story, well written and easy to read, and I hope there will be a sequel soon. This is a fun story, and it will keep you busy for a few hours as you disappear into the fascinating world of Oliveto. Highly recommended for fans of YA adventure and spooky stories.
