Seven friends trying to graduate high school get caught up with bullying, climate change, and other dysfunctions… In 2018, Isaac Cohen and his friends in Team Bombshelter got shunted onto a clanking roller coaster of misfortune. The plan was to coast through their final semester: get stoned, play video games, get into college, and get the hell out of town. Instead, the shit kept hitting the fan – over and over and over again. Fights, floods, freezes… total fuck ups. And some of it wasn’t even their fault. Adam beats up the bully Butch Mattingly. Fat Charlie's father has a heart attack. Jesus is still ferrying his little brothers and sisters around town. Rover's never had a date. Helen's house is destroyed. Sean is thinking about coming out of the closet. Isaac can't get into college to save his life. And when their school is closed down, they're bussed to the next town over to a high school they hate. Every time they get knocked down they get up, come together, and solve their problems.
