If you're sensitive, creative and empathic, wondering what your purpose is and why you feel disempowered and disconnected in a world that doesn’t make sense to you, The Indigo Journals holds the answers you’ve been looking for. From her mystical experiences, channeled messages and encounters with enlightened masters, to the cosmic memories that led her to an in-depth exploration of the wounded Feminine, the author takes you on a spiritual healing journey of self-discovery and personal transformation to unlock your hidden power, fulfill your purpose and bring balance to an overly masculine world.
"This book is a wonderful support for all, for those who are Indigos and those who are not. For Indigos, it will guide them through the tough spots and help identify themselves more fully. And for non-Indigos, it will help them understand and see themselves and Indigos honestly. Thank you for giving us this insightful information!" Jan Tober, author of The Indigo Children, the New Kids Have Arrived.
"Yol Swan is quite simply a healing transmitter of knowledge and wisdom of the soul. She combines astonishing and wide-ranging healing insights with a profound and exquisite heart presence upon every page. In my experience with writing and the ability to 'transmit' — she has it. She is a gift to the world." Anaiya Sophia, author of Womb Wisdom: Awakening the Creative and Forgotten Powers of the Feminine.
The depth of this book is a gift. It is really three books in one.It begins with a story about the authors experience of growing up and reveals the bread crumbs within these events that propelled her to discover what prompted her to move through life as she did. It is very relatable because we all experience the isolation that comes with "seeing" the world from a perspective that is clearly different from those around us. We endure this misfit status because it does not occur to us that we should change our views to fit in but we ponder how and why we are to navigate this solitary path.
The second part offers an explanation. We start our lives learning to cope with the physical laws unaware there are nonphysical laws at play as well. The amount of information is amazing. It is helpful to the individual just beginning to comprehend that our soul's voice is supposed to be our guiding voice as well as the individual who is developing the skills needed to recognize and separate the the noise of the "others" voices.
It reads like a conversation with a trusted friend about the topics our trusted friends may not be open to. There are descriptions that reveal more about the universe and our place in it than is certainly common knowledge. It is fascinating, overwhelming and profound. It must be read slowly to grasp the information and reread to validate what you think you just read.
The third part pulls you back into reality as it describes in very practical terms how to connect with your soul with all its strengths and challenges. The challenges are quite familiar but now they have context and they are not personality flaws. Indigo souls are not here to conform and as agents of curiosity and possible change we make other souls uncomfortable and even nervous. Understanding this and embracing our soul mission can be difficult but then feeling like an outsider is no picnic either.
This is an amazing read and I recommend it to anyone who knows they experience life from a perspective not shared with too many others.
