US Special Forces sniper, Sergeant First Class Rob Walker returns from a long tour in Afghanistan to find that home has changed for the worse. A drug kingpin and old high school classmate has taken over several blocks surrounding Rob’s old Brooklyn neighborhood. Ruthless and armed to the teeth, residents are afraid of speaking out against them for fear of the worst. 
Soon after arriving home, Rob finds out that his younger sister, Marianne is foolishly involved with a local drug dealer and former boyfriend he'd had run-ins with in the past. The guy would sell out his own mother for quick cash. 
Having seen too much during a botched drug deal, she is snatched up and handed over to members of a Mexican drug cartel who are after their pay day. Suspecting her of being sold into sex slavery to satisfy the unpaid debt, he must act before it’s too late. But, taken south into the Mexican criminal underworld, Marianne completely drops off the radar.  
Knowing he can't do it alone, Rob enlists the help of his teammate and spotter, Staff Sergeant Kyle Branch.
 With the law's hands tied, they decide to do the only thing they know to do — commit violence and punish everyone involved in his sister’s disappearance.  
The mission — save her and send a clear message of brutality to her captors.  Body by bloody body, they will dismantle an entire criminal empire if that’s what it takes. 
But once a cartel hitman picks up their trail, it becomes a race for time to outwit him and find her.
