Winter’s guide is divided into seven sections (e.g. “Your Million-Dollar Message,” “Your Launch Blueprint,” “Your Legacy,” etc.) that take readers through a blueprint for how to construct the storytelling facet of their marketing system, and while she does advise readers to use books as vehicles for their stories, she also includes expansive sections on TED Talks, YouTube videos, podcasts, and social media as other viable methods to leverage. Each chapter also features examples from hyper-successful business owners, with the usual suspects—Richard Branson, Jeff Bezos, Steve Jobs—balanced out by fresh testimonies from Winter’s clients on their books’ success with Winter’s coaching help.
Some may believe their stories aren’t interesting enough to be shared, but Winter emphatically argues that “neglecting your story leaves money on the table—a LOT of money.” The emphasis is hers and edges toward overstatement. More fully persuasive is Winter’s argument that while technology and culture are constantly in flux, stories are timelessly valuable to customers. The key is to adapt to the ways people are telling stories in order to use yours to help companies succeed, and that’s where Turn Words into Wealth can help any business owner use their story to change the trajectory of their career and future.

Turn Words Into Wealth, by Aurora Winter, is specifically aimed at leaders and entrepreneurs, even for writers and authors, but I think any reader can take advantage of it as it offers valuable lessons for any work environment or for any business career. It offers great teachings in terms of personal development and branding as well. All in all, this is the first book I read from the author, and it will not certainly be the last one. I was pleasantly surprised by how interesting the book turned out to be and definitely recommend it.
"Learn how to market yourself and cultivate success with this insightful book about the importance of messaging! This eye-opening read reveals how powerful storytelling can lead to success — whether that success looks like publishing a book or modeling effective leadership."
Turn Words into Wealth, by Aurora Winter, is a great tool that is going to help future authors be more effective in the way they share their message. ... I appreciate the way Winter explains things and how she helps readers find connections and their true calling – both things at which a person who writes nonfiction has to be adept.
“Aurora Winter knows how to convince one to stand up, dust themselves off and keep going. She is a great storyteller and gives great analogies when explaining a particular topic and provides real-life experiences when presenting her theories. The author is articulate in her explanations and gives real-world answers. Turn Words Into Wealth has the potential to change you and your business.
