Whether or not you are searching to make changes in your life, this book is great. Taking time to do each exercise as you read shines a light on just how automatically we go through our days without thinking about the processes. No right or wrong; just raising awareness. Highly recommend!
I loved this book. Karin writes with such wit and intelligence it was a joy to read and I find myself laughing during the day when my robot is in full motion. I am 78 and I just wonder who I would have become if I had this book at an earlier age but now is now and just watch out for the grandmother.!!!. I bought a copy for my grand daughter who is 14 and she is actually reading it and I cant wait to discuss it with her. Thanks
Having read the book has given me an additional tool to put in my life tool box. I thought I had enough tools, but as I realize, just like a good mechanic, you can never have too many tools in a tool box.
I have been a meditator for over 45 years, and I think of myself as an adventurer, trekking over 13,000 miles all over the world, always looking for that new adventure, new places, and meeting new people, but after reading this book, I realize that I still fail at times to Unplug My Robot. Interesting, though I scored in the lower range of the short self-test in the book, the test has made me aware of this.
The book is short, and helpful, a little tool to keep with you as you work to make space in your head, declutter, and Unplug the Robot. You could keep in your pocket, or have it electronically on your phone or tablet (ops, yes to Question 26!, and some more).
If you want a short, simple, and easy to read book/tool, to work on improving your life, I would recommend you get this book to add to your life tool box.
