This book made me stop, think, remember, and feel. It is very apropos for the state of the world in 2023. I enjoyed the journeys of the two main characters as they healed spiritually, mentally, and physically. We are all traveling through our lives, and I recognized many of the way-stations they went through.
We have many opportunities to go in better directions, for ourselves, our communities, all of humanity, and for all life on earth. After reading this book, I am reworking my daily prayers. While I don't agree with all of the author's content, I won't argue because we so desperately need more books and works of art like this one.
